Leading PPI provider selects SSP to drive online growth.

SSP has signed a four year agreement with MMS, a leading provider of payment protection insurance, to design & implement an innovative e-commerce solution.

MMS specialises in the creation, management & administration of tailor-made protection plans for a wide range of businesses, including mortgage brokers & motor dealerships. With the distribution of insurance continuing to change rapidly, MMS has identified the need to invest in leading edge technology to create a new approach for the B2B distribution & sale of PPI. As well as increasing business efficiency the new solution will radically improve the sales process & the experience of their business partners.

The new solution allows MMS to develop its online proposition further, opening up wider distribution opportunities. MMS will launch the first of a range of new products in early 2009.

Tom Bottomley, Director at MMS commented: “Following a review of the systems market we felt that SSP was the obvious partner for this strategic project given their wide range of experience & their market leading technology.  This innovative e-commerce solution, designed specifically for our requirements, will provide us with a flexible & scalable solution for the future. Not only will this allow us to develop our online proposition & open up new distribution opportunities, but it will also ensure the service we provide to our customers remains as efficient & professional as possible.”

Commenting on the deal Steve Bow, Managing Director of SSP’s Broking Division, said: "We are pleased that MMS selected SSP as its technology partner. The PPI market is changing rapidly, with product innovation & compliance at point of sale key priorities for providers. Technology is the key to delivering this & giving businesses the tools they need to maintain a competitive edge. This deal further highlights the opportunities for businesses online. MMS has recognised this & invested in its future. We look forward to working closely with MMS, sharing our knowledge to develop the business even further.”
